Dan Ness

Some people really excel at collage-ing things together. I've long been taken by Dan Ness's paintings. They are reminiscent of Rauschenburg and just delightfully composed. His website also contains a great collection of photos he has taken of plastic Japanese statues.

Amy Casey

Isn't this great? Lately I've been tuned into art and discussions about home, I think it's a highly interesting, fertile topic. Perhaps it's just that it's a time in my life when so many friends are nesting, yet so many too are flitting about the world, and several speak with conviction about how they bring home with them as they move about. And I'm trying to define home for myself. Some houses are also very storied and captivating, especially intriguing when viewed from the outside. I just stumbled upon Amy Casey's house paintings, and I love they way she strings houses together. The houses and the arrangements are stunning.
